I contribute to the emergence of social innovation organizations and of spaces for collective learning.
I have gathered and led a steering committee to launch magazine Expériences. I am the editor of this magazine which is dedicated to the sharing of lived experiences related to illness and care. The magazine creates a space for the collective expression of voices and perspectives which are often not listened to. The four issues published thus far bring together an international community of contributors and readers.
I am a cofounding member and current president of the board of Coop solidarité santé Montréal, which is the first healthcare solidarity cooperative on the Montreal Island. Launched in 2016 in partnership with Collège de Rosemont, the Coop now has more than 6000 members. It offers proximity services that are accessible and adapted to the needs of the local population while contributing to the professional training of the College’s students.
I have completed between 2020 and 2022 several consulting mandates in social innovation strategy. In one of these mandates, I have used a participatory approach to guide the coconstruction of a strategic plan for the governance and financing of Communauté soignante, a cross-sectoral social innovation initiative in community health.
I have assembled and led a committee to coconstruct the didactic material. This open-access training program in six asynchronous audiovisual modules guides facilitators through the key principles to successfully launching a community of practice.
